Landscape photographer Eric Miller has lived in Brooklyn, New England, and the Monterey Bay area of Northern California, where he was inspired to do landscape photography in the land of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. He studied photography there with Steve Crouch, then later explored urban subjects with George Tice and Steve Hirsch at the New School. Miller moved to the Hudson Valley in 2013 where he quickly responded to its unique landscapes, historic buildings, and cemeteries. He looks for the surreal, the mystical, and the unexpected. Four of his photographs were chosen for a group show two years ago at Montgomery Row. This is his first one-man show.
