Spanning over three hundred years, Southlands is a non-profit that is open to the public; featuring close to 200 acres of fields, including hay fields, 5 miles of walking trails, expansive sky, horse riding programs, and nature curiosity camps. Southland’s mission is to provide a historical and agrarian connection to the community, and cultivate a respect and love for the land and its animals through education, conservation and outdoor recreation. Located at the southern gateway/entrance to Rhinebeck, Southlands is one of the first properties visitors see. As residents and visitors, we are ever so fortunate to view and enjoy this protected green space.
