China Jorrin’s photographs in this exhibit are intimate views of individuals interacting within a metropolis. Jorrin’s small prints create a window into a diverse urban and textured environment.
China Jorrin is a New York and Rhinebeck based lifestyle and portrait photographer specializing in weddings and portraiture. She has photographed extensively in New York, Los Angeles, and the Hudson River Valley. From 2005-2007 she created a series of photographs chronicling the then mostly vacant Hudson River State Hospital. Her series “New Americans” reflect her work as an ESL teacher. China Jorrin is a Bard College Alumna.
