A Sense of Place

A “sense of place” evokes a range of feelings…from connection and awe to separation or even alienation.
In our work, we are drawn to the artistic qualities of a particular moment in a particular place…. not simply the play of light, color, shape, but also a deeper sense of the place itself. Sometimes this essence is best captured through representation, sometimes by a more abstracted response. The artistic explorations become endless.
Painting in oil, pastel or watercolor, the places that inspire us range from home in the Hudson Valley to meaningful experience throughout the world.

Enter from Montgomery Street (stairs only) or Montgomery Row parking lots (elevator & stairs). Open M-F 9am-6pm, Sat 8am- 6pm, & Sun 8am-3pm, excluding holidays.
