Joseph Maresca: This exhibit is a retrospective of the various styles of painting and drawing Joseph Maresca has explored during his career. Maresca applies paint in a tactile manner enriching what would otherwise be a surface of pure color and shape. Maresca’s paintings and drawings have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Katonah Museum of Art,among others. Maresca has taught as an adjunct professor at NYU and at CUNY and has authored a book—WPA Buildings: Architecture and Art of the New Deal. Joseph Maresca was born in Brooklyn, NY. He received his BFA from Pratt Institute, and an MFA from NYU. He currently resides in Rhinecliff.
Bruce Murphy: Painter and photographer Bruce Murphy obtained a BFA in painting from Parson’s School of Design. Murphy has developed a process using industrial applications, such as metallic powders to provide golden and silver highlights, to enhance color. While some may be non-representational in subject, his work is rooted in nature and his surroundings. Murphy lives in Rhinecliff, New York. He has exhibited at the Carrie Haddad Gallery.

Montgomery Row Art Exhibition Space is located on the 2nd floor of Montgomery Row at 6423 Montgomery Street. Enter from Montgomery Street (stairs only) or Montgomery Row parking lots (elevator & stairs). Open M-F 9am-6pm, Sat 8am- 6pm, & Sun 8am-3pm, excluding holidays.
