100 Points of View
March 6th — April 28th
A Solo Exhibit of Franc Palaia’s Photographs
Artist Reception: March 11, 5-7 pm
“100 Points of View” consists of color photographs created by noted artist and photographer, Franc Palaia. The images are selected from three decades of the artist’s travels through several countries including the U.S., Italy, France, Turkey, China, Cuba, Spain, Greece, and Canada. These small-scale traditional color prints reflect Palaia’s eclectic visual points of view including awkward and bizarre street views, hand-colored SX-70 Polaroids, majestic Greek and Roman architecture, bold street art and graffiti, exotic murals, humorous and semi-surrealistic scenes and lush colors and textures that pop from the surface of the photographs.
